XYZ

Image
Yesterday, Saturday July 9 I saw XYZ back after a very long time. We met in Earl's Court where she lived before. We first went to the Troubadour for a cappuccino (me) and tea (XYZ) and we also ordered an ice cream with caramel taste. After finishing our first drink we ordered another tea (XYZ) and a coca-cola (me). Finally we had our diner: we shared our starter: a bruchetta with goat cheese and spinach, then I took a gnocchi that had a very dominant, and for me bad taste so I did not enjoy it and I even didn't finish it as I normally would do while XYZ took a pie with mashed potatoes. XYZ and me in the Troubadour, a nice bar / restaurant. In the meanwhile we spoke about a number of things, and especially about the kids in school. As usually I complained about some kids but I always try to make it clear I also have wonderful children who want to learn. XYZ also complained about some problems at her school, although she said the problems at her school seemed to be less sev

Gay Pride in London

Gay Pride in London: so much fun. I was wearing a pink shirt, blue jeans and eyeliners. I bought purple nail varnish to paint my fingernails. I think it looked good on me, although I am sure not everyone will agree. In the evening chilling in a gay bar in Camden Town with friends. A few days earlier, I left Belgium for London together with Kurt to go to London Gay Pride. I stayed with my good friends Marc and Gerard, while Kurt stayed with my other friend Allan. After arriving in London, Kurt and I went for Chinese in King's Cross, together with Allan, and later we had a beer before going to our beds. The next day, Kurt and I went to a restaurant in West London for a nice meal together with Marc and Gerard and two of Gerard's friends. Afterwards we had champagne in a bar/restaurant near Oxford and Regent Street and more people joined. It was a great day. Then on Saturday: Gay Pride. Gerard and Marc didn't join. First we saw a little of the Parade. It was fun altho

Back in London

Since June 30, I am back in London. But not permanently, I am visiting the city and friends for 11 days. But still, I feel already so much better. After arriving, I rushed to Gerard and Marc's place to leave my luggage there. Marc was still at work but it was great seeing Gerard back. We chatted a little but then I had to rush back to King's Cross St Pancras as I had to meet Kurt who arrived an hour after I did. And there was also Allan. It was lovely seeing him back after all that time. We went to a Chinese for dinner and to a bar for a beer. Then we all went our own ways: Kurt went to Allan's place and I went to Marc and Gerard's house. After arriving, I closed the front door, thereby locking Marc out. After opening the door, Marc and I briefly spoke with each other but then we went to bed as the next day would be busy and Marc was tired after a long days work. The next morning I went to King's College London (KCL), my previous employer, to catch up with
