A number of the Guardian articles about the state of our planet, not only about climate change but also about people who kill other humans who only want to report on the state of our planet so we understand the destruction. I published the articles on my Facebook in June 2022 while added more recent articles in this post. This bring us to the conclusion that activism as usual such as meeting important people is no longer sufficient. But, what is the best way forward as any actions such as those by Extinction Rebellion (ER) are condemned by many people while a war by Russia draws even more money to fossil fuel and more general to energy companies? How to halt a virus? Schools as an example In America, President Biden asks that teachers are vaccinated because they are considered a priority and many States do; indeed, their vaccination is essential to be able to keep schools open.  Not so in Belgium and I think in the EU because decision-makers have chosen to vaccinate first immobile people, i.e. elderly people in care homes because they are vulnerable, I accept they are. Still, although they can become ill and have a big chance to die, as they don't leave the home, they don't spread the virus. And thus, when people who don't leave the house are vaccinated first, it is as if no-one is vaccinated in society. This is an older text (from around 2013-2014) that I didn't publish earlier, among other reasons because my internet was down and afterwards the moment was gone, hence some links to older articles. But now it seems to be another moment to publish the updated article as part of my miniseries about the pharmaceutical sector to show it is much more than "only for the money" although I acknowledge there are excesses.
