(8h) PM Benjamin Netanyahu and Israel
Israel's PM Netanyahu, in religious terminology one of the "devils" on this planet. He faces corruption charges but refuses to face justice. And thus on 20/04/2020 he reached a deal with his opponent Mr Gantz to form a new Israeli government so the corruption charges are postponed. But already observers feared the Palestinians will suffer greatly as President Trump's peace deal may be implemented that allows the annexation of large areas of the Palestinian territory, something the Palestinians can't accept. Should it not be a worldwide agreement reached via the UN or is this organisation too neutral?
Indeed, Netanyahu, never ever as Israel's PM did he take an opportunity to reach a peace agreement with the people whose land the Israelis occupy after the bad treatment by Europeans during WWII and what resulted in the accelerated return of Jews to their "promised land" about 2000 years after they were thrown out of it. A land that equals a God, an idol for those who claim to be real, i.e. (ultra) orthodox Jews (not the nicest people, not even for other Jews as others are never as good as them).
Palestinians, of whom I think many are likely descendants of Jews who were allowed to remain in Israel after Roman emperor Hadrian banished many Jews from their lands as they couldn't stop fighting each other and the Roman authorities; indeed, first the Temple was destroyed in 70 CE after a Jewish revolt but as this didn't stop new revolts, many Judean were deported while the name of the region changed into Syria Palaestina and thus its inhabitants were probably named Palestinians. These remaining Jews probably later reverted to Islam to stay alive. Around that time you also had early Christians, converted Jews who were considered as a Jewish Sect by orthodox Jews who didn't like each other, they too suffered from Rome's anger. And thus both Palestinians and Christians originated from Israelites and may be lost tribes. And even today normal Jews start to fear they may one day have to leave Israel because ultra orthodox Jews still fight against other Jews as they fear that inclusion is devilish; whenever one Israel and the Temple are possibilities, Jews start to hate each other, their cure that they can't settle after Cain killed his brother Abdel.
And thus on 16/06/2020 and again on 24/06/2020 the UN appealed to Israel's government to drop their plans to annex Palestinian land. We can almost be sure Israel's government will not listen as Netanyahu becomes more extreme to have continuous support of extreme right, i.e. extremist Jews who want Palestinians out and the unification of the country. But he also needs support of foreign leaders such as USA's president Trump, Brazil's president Bolsonaro, East European right-wing leaders and others who are by many considered to be (extreme) right while Netanyahu seems to dislike liberal Europe as indeed many religious people believe Europe will give rise to, again, anti-Jewish sentiment.
Do Jews not understand that the use if violence to unite the country can turn against them? Yes, first Jahweh may allow that that idol, i.e. the land Israel is united by wicked people who also intend to rebuild that another idol, i.e. the Temple before installing a terror by those who today pretend to help the Jews but instead have their own agenda of a return of Christ instead of a Jewish messiah; others may really want to help but later may not be acknowledged for their help. Indeed, I think extremist Jews will never accept a non-Jew or a secular Jew as saviour (already the coronavirus is creating tensions between PM Netanyahu and part of his orthodox power base who think their believe in their God instead of brains will protect them, similar as we see in other countries with religious hardliners) and thus will resist such a person, even when that person did much in favour of Israelites unless someone may do something that brings shame on extremists so they see.
That doesn't mean Palestinians are flawless but they fight against the occupation of their land and annihilation of their culture and even themselves. Yes, as a result a unifying Muslim leader may rise although throughout the past decades few Muslim leaders defended the Palestinians. But it is also correct that while Jews are happy with a small land along the Mediterranean Sea, others like Muslims and Christians are only happy when they can conquer or rule more land and thus they were/are worse than Jews.
Should Jews not understand what it means to be locked away behind walls such as in Warsaw? Do they not understand what it means to lose everything, including their own houses and land? Do they not understand what it means to be considered Ãœntermensch (Palestinians) by those who think they are Ãœbermensch (extremist Jews) and how this makes people desperate and angry? They should remember WWII and read their scriptures to understand what it means when foreigners invade a territory and take rights and property away. Is it not prophesied that after their Messiah comes they will live in shame as they chose the wrong side in their desire to worship their promised land and temple. Did God not say : "I am the Lord, the God of the whole human race" (Jeremiah 32:27). Indeed, Jeremiah, now recognised as a prophet but in his days ultra orthodox Jews wanted him death. Thus, Israel and Jerusalem can only rise and shine when they are for all humans and not a few where people show that living a honest life brings prosperity for everyone. Maybe Amos Oz can be an inspiration?
Further, Ezekiel repeats often that God tells him to live a good life with respect for everyone who lives in their land so people will say that the person's God is a righteous God he wants to join. God warns that if you sign a treaty, don't break it or receive punishment (17:1-21); of course it is different when the other side breaks the treaty first. Further, people should live a good life without killing, robbing,... (18:1-32) while He is angry Jews "... murdered so many of your own people ..." that He punished. Ezekiel also mentions that the land will be divided over the 12 tribes while foreigners and their descendants should also receive their share of the land (47:22-23). Thus, how can it be justified to treat Palestinians badly and take their land? Whatever, religious hardliners think bad times are ahead while indeed, those bad times may come because religious hardliners hate other people. And this is not a conspiracy theory as reality shows certain people act according this or how to explain what is happening?
