(08a) Samson and Delilah - the movie.

A few weeks ago (I have problems with my internet so couldn't publish earlier), I watched the film "Samson and Delilah", produced by Lorenzo Minoli and directed by Nicolas Roeg. A beautiful film of almost three hours (two parts) and a beautiful story. Did I learn anything from it? I think I did. When God promises liberation and people believe in God, they should believe liberation will follow and they should not speed things up. Indeed, sometimes one has to wait for the moment that one can strike because otherwise the strike will only bring revenge. When the Philistines ruled over Judah, the Jewish people fought against their oppressors and were killed during these battles. It is only normal one wants to be free. But then God promised to liberate his people via Samson. So, when Samson grew up he became very strong. Everyone asked him when he would start his war against the Philistines.
